Khối lượng download khổng lồ
Phiên bản doanh nghiệp được tối ưu hoá, sử dụng dung lượng bộ nhớ ít nhất đến có thể trong các quá trình download. Nó được thiết kế lại hàng đợi phân tách và định dạng file ánh xạ. Các file ánh xạ không được load thêm vào bộ nhớ, nhưng được lưu lại trên đĩa cứng. Offline Explorer Enterprise chỉ đọc các phân đoạn ánh xạ cần thiết để thể hiện Project Map hay thêm các điểm vào mới.

File ánh xạ (thuật ngữ chuyên ngành gọi là “map file”) có đuôi mở rộng “.mpx”, không tương thích với phiên bản cũ của Offline Explorer. Offline Explorer Enterprise chuyển đổi file ánh xạ cũ sang định dạng mới khi cần thiết. Nhưng không thực hiện quá trình ngược lại. Vì thế, nếu bạn cài Offline Explorer hay Offline Explorer Pro trong Enterprise, một số thông tin ánh xạ có thể bị mất. Kiểu project hay một số định dạng file khác cũng giống như vậy. Trong tất cả các thiết lập, định dạng file Project và Template được bảo toàn.

OLE Automation xây dựng Offline Explorer Enterprise cho các hãng phát triển giải pháp. Có thể sử dụng các ngôn ngữ Visual C++, Visual Basic, Delphi hay môi trường phát triển tương thích COM để bắt đầu các download mới, quản lý dự án và chạy các website đã download về qua Offline Explorer.

Update các Project qua các file bị xoá
Khi bạn xoá các file Project đã download, Offline Explorer Enterprise sẽ tiếp tục download các file mới hoặc các file chỉnh sửa từ website.

Thông tin về file bạn loại bỏ được lưu trữ trong cơ sở dữ liệu cô đọng.
Ví dụ nếu bạn download một tập lớn các file PDF lấy từ đĩa CD, bạn có thể xoá file trên đĩa cứng, sử dụng các lệnh File | Delete | Only Project Files. Khi bắt đầu download file Project tiếp theo, Offline Explorer Enterprise sẽ xác định xem liệu bất kỳ file đã xoá nào có thay đổi gì không và chỉ download file mới hay file update.
