Đó cũng là tên của trò chơi do Atari vừa phát hành. Death to Spies do xưởng game Nga Haggard Games phát triển, trở thành một trong những sản phẩm hành động tình báo gai góc nhất kể từ sau khi gã sát thủ 47 của dòng game Hitman cạo đầu gia nhập game giới. Với các nhiệm vụ kết thúc mở, thiết kế level linh hoạt và độ khó ở mức cao (nhờ mang nhiều chi tiết thật), game là một minh chứng cho thấy đề tài chiến tranh thế giới thứ II chưa hẳn đã bị nhàm. >> Thông tin về game
Gameplay của trò chơi không có gì là đột phá như cốt truyện và bối cảnh. Dù vậy, Death to spies là game đầu tiên đưa bạn vào vai một điệp viên phản giản SMERSH có nhiệm vụ tiêu diệt lính phát xít trong những chuyến phiêu lưu của Hitler đến liên bang Xô Viết. Game có phong cách giống với Hitman và Splinter Cell, nhưng lại mang những màn chơi có thiên hướng giải đố của series Commandos. Ngoài việc trải nghiệm trò chơi với tầm nhìn thứ 3 để đánh đấm, ngụy trang, bạn cũng có thể sử dụng map quay từ trên xuống để kiểm tra và theo dõi những vị trí trọng yếu cũng như để biết tầm nhìn của lính gác qua biểu tượng quét hình nón. Nếu đã từng chơi các sản phẩm tình báo cũ, bạn sẽ cảm thấy sự quen thuộc trong Death to spies.  Điểm khác biệt lớn nhất giữa Death to spies với những trò chơi tiền bối là ở tính thực tiễn. Các nhiệm vụ trong game diễn ra theo đúng những gì mà đơn vị phản giản Hồng Quân Liên Xô từng phải làm trong quá khứ như thâm nhập vào một thị trấn vừa bị đánh bom để đắnh cắp bản kế hoạch tấn công tiếp theo của địch, đột nhập vào nhà tù phát xít để ám sát một người lính Nga phản bội, đánh sập cầu do kẻ thù chiếm đóng hoặc tự do hơn là lẻn vào một khách sạn ở Moscow để tiễu trừ gián điệp đồng mình đang tìm cách bán bí mật quân sự cho người Anh. Tất cả các địa điểm trên đều được thiết kế rất sát với bối cảnh của thời kỳ chiến tranh diễn ra ở Nga với các tòa nhà văn phòng, pháo đài đá, trại lính, ga tàu hỏa... Engine đồ họa của game đã tạo được ấn tượng đáng kể của người chơi với hiệu ứng đổ bóng và ánh sáng hợp lý (hiệu ứng đổ bóng là yếu tố hình ảnh cốt lõi của nhiều game hành động gián điệp).  Về lý thuyết, hầu hết tất cả các level đều có môi trường mở, cho phép người chơi tự do tạo ra đường đi của mình để đạt được mục đích cuối cùng. Còn trên thực tế, nhiều người chơi chắn chắn chỉ có 1 hoặc 2 cách hoàn thành nhiệm vụ do lượng lính gác quá nhiều khiến bạn khó có thể đưa ra những thử nghiệm táo bạo. Dù rất giỏi trong việc di chuyển lặng lẽ, cắt cổ lính gác bằng một con dao, sợi dây hoặc súng giảm thanh và cải trang thành lính địch, nhưng không phải lúc nào bạn cũng có thể hoàn thành tốt tất cả các ý định của mình. Các phiên tuần tra của phát xít thường có 2 tên, hầu hết các hành lang đều có một tên trấn giữ ở mỗi đầu, chưa kể một (hoặc 3) chú khác không ngừng đi đi lại lại ở giữa. Dù có thể ngụy trang trong bộ đồ sỹ quan và bước qua những tên này, bạn vẫn phải cẩn thận bởi trong những khu vực trọng yếu, đôi chỗ sẽ xuất hiện những gã phát xít cấp cao có thể làm lộ thân phận của nhân vật.  Nhiều phần chơi thậm chí còn 'xương xẩu' đến nỗi có thể khiến bạn bực mình. Ở nhiệm vụ thứ ba, game thủ lãnh trách nhiệm lẳng lặng vượt qua một hành lang có đến cả tá tính canh trước khi chui vào một căn phòng nhỏ ám sát 2 sỹ quan cảnh giới và một tên lính khác. Việc này có thể hoàn thành được, nhưng đòi hỏi người chơi phải tính thời gian cho cử động khớp đến từng giây đồng hồ. Ở màn thứ 7, game thủ lại phải tiêu diệt 2 tên phát xít cấp cao trong một căn phòng đầy thuộc cấp của chúng và cả những tên lính tay lăm lăm súng máy. Nếu chỉ hiên ngang chạy và bắn như Rambo, bạn sẽ gục ngã ngay từ những khoảnh khắc đầu tiên.  Tuy nhiên, tất cả những tình huống khó đó không khiến người chơi có cảm giác 'bị Death to spies lừa', bởi chúng xuất phát từ các hoạt động tình báo thật. Bạn sẽ bị phát hiện ngay cả khi đã cố tình ẩn nấp trong bóng tối ở khoảng cách gần, tất cả âm thanh lạ phát ra đều bị điều tra. Cả đống kẻ thù sẽ dồn về phía có tiếng súng nổ. Còi báo động lập tức vang lên khi một xác chết được tìm thấy. Bạn có thể mang theo mình 2 vũ khí cùng lúc, thường là một súng trường và một súng ngắn. Tất cả vũ khí trong game đều có sức nặng. Do đó, nhân vật không bao giờ có thể chạy quanh mà vẫn mang trong mình hàng tá đạn dược và chai gây mê...Hầu hết thời gian game trôi qua trong tĩnh lặng, tất cả những gì bạn nghe thấy chỉ là các hiệu ứng của môi trường xung quanh, tiếng máy hát văng vẳng từ xa hoặc tiếng nhạc disco thỉnh thoảng nổi lên khi chiến đấu.  Death to Spies Moment of Truth-SKIDROW  Moment of Truth is a sequel to the popular stealth action title Death to Spies.
