Very tiny (40KB using LVCL) secure notepad: it's a Safe/StrongBox/Coffer notepad and file cipher utility. Uses AES-256 and SHA-256 encryption from my fast and open-source Crypto library: with such a level of key size, your data are top-secret protected!

The installer creates a shortcut on your bottom screen bar: just click, enter your secret code, press OK, and you will have all your passwords/serials at hand! You can modify the text, update your private data, and the modifications will be automatically saved after confirmation. Thanks to my Crypto library, the software can use padlock engine on via C3/C7.

To encrypt / decrypt some files, just drag and drop files to the “password” window. They’ll be renamed .crypt. Then decryption is available by double-clicking them.

Never forget your secret password: no one could ever get your files/data back - that’s about security...

To backup your private notepad, just backup the MySecNotepad.crypt file, stored in the installation directory on Windows 95-XP, or in C:\Users\{UserName}\ AppData\ Local\ VirtualStore\ Program Files\ My Secure Notepad on Windows Vista.

This software will display English messages by default, but french language will transparently be used on french Windows (see above screenshot).

My Secure Notepad là một phần mềm miễn phí cực kỳ nhỏ gọn, chuyên dùng để bảo mật văn bản text đơn giản.

Với việc sử dụng bộ mã hóa AES-256 và SHA-256, chương trình bảo đảm thông tin của bạn được bảo mật hoàn toàn.

Cách sử dụng:

Sau khi tải về từ mạng, bạn lưu file MySecNotepad.exe vào 1 thư mục nào đó và kích hoạt file này để chạy trực tiếp mà không cần cài đặt.

Lần đầu tiên chạy chương trình, bạn cần khởi tạo password để xác lập vai trò người quản lý. Bạn nhập mật khẩu vào ô Enter Password rồi bấm OK.

Sau đó, bạn gõ các thông tin cần bảo mật vào cửa sổ My Secure Notepad cũng tương tự như khi sử dụng Notepad của Windows. Lưu ý: cửa sổ nhập text của chương trình này không hỗ trợ tiếng Việt Unicode. Khi nhập xong, bạn bấm nút đóng cửa sổ (dấu X) trên góc phải rồi bấm nút Yes khi xuất hiện hộp thoại hỏi bạn có lưu hay không. Chương trình sẽ lưu thành file có tên MySecNotepad.crypt trong cùng thư mục với file MySecNotepad.exe.

Khi cần mở file bảo mật, bạn chạy chương trình rồi gõ đúng mật khẩu khi tạo. Chương trình sẽ tự động mở file MySecNotepad.crypt để bạn làm việc.

Trường hợp bạn cần bảo vệ các file text đã có, bạn chỉ việc kéo và thả các file này vào cửa sổ chương trình (bạn sẽ thấy phía dưới ô nhập mật khẩu xuất hiện dòng Files to do: x, với x là số lượng file). Sau đó, nhập mật khẩu bảo vệ riêng cho các file này (không cần phải giống với mật khẩu ban đầu) rồi bấm OK. Các file được bảo vệ sẽ bị đổi tên thành “[tên file cũ].crypt”.

Khi cần làm việc với file đã mã hóa, bạn chạy chương trình > kéo file mã hóa vào cửa sổ chương trình > nhập mật khẩu bảo vệ của file này > bấm OK rồi bấm No để hủy bỏ việc mã hóa trong hộp thoại hỏi bạn muốn bỏ bảo vệ (No) hay tiếp tục bảo vệ (Yes).

Lưu ý:
Bạn có thể dùng Notepad của Windows XP để tạo file text có tiếng Việt Unicode rồi dùng chương trình này đễ mã hóa vì việc mã hóa không làm mất tiếng Việt.
