Rất hiếm thấy một cú lia máy nào thiếu tinh tế trong phim bởi theo dõi Wanted, người xem như đang đi trên một con tàu siêu tốc, lúc nào cũng căng mình lên để đón nhận bất cứ thử thách khốc liệt nào. Ngay cả hình ảnh những đường đạn trong Wanted cũng được dựng theo cách khiến khán giả vừa khó tin và bị ấn tượng sâu sắc. Hầu như tất cả các cảnh phim này đều được quay chậm, đặc tả đường đi của viên đạn tạo thành một đường cong hoàn hảo và chính xác tới từng milimet trong không trung. Khó khăn không phải ở chỗ kết liễu mạng sống của người khác mà là ở chỗ lấy hết can đảm để tự điều khiển sinh mệnh bản thân mình. Trong vai Wesley Gibson, James McAvoy tiếp tục chứng tỏ khả năng diễn xuất của mình, đặc biệt trong những vai đòi hỏi phải thể hiện diễn biến tâm lý phức tạp, góc cạnh.
