Greetings!

Although it is not long since we released version 6.0.9.2, it is time to release again. There have been a few issues reported that are being fixed now and this topic is intended for those who would like to confirm whether the issues they encounter are solved.

Just below here is a list of the fixes and improvements. If you're interested in installing the latest Release-Candidate (RC9) scroll down a little to find the download links

Scanning engine updated to version 4.5.1 which fixes a few bugs, including one that would in some cases crash 64-bit operating systems and prevented our releasing of the 64-bit version 6.0.9.2.
Security Center behavior reviewed and improved.
A few minor improvements in the installer that also apply to F-PROT's automatic software upgrades.

As a result, we now have the full range of packages for you to download and try out.

PLEASE NOTE: The packages below are currently going through the final tests, so these should be regarded as Release Candidates unless announced otherwise after the release is made. This means that trying them out is a gamble. If these packages prove to have a problem and different packages are actually released, we recommend uninstalling the Release Candidate you had been trying out.

Still anxious to try?
Good man!
