Quá trình săn tìm e-mail của SES được tiến hành gần như là vô tận vì số cơ cấu tìm kiếm cần phải lướt qua quá nhiều. Cho nên, ngoài những e-mail kết quả đầu tiên có liên quan đến từ khóa cần tìm, SES còn đưa ra hàng nhiều trăm hoặc nhiều ngàn địa chỉ e-mail khác nhau mà dường như chẳng có liên quan gì đến từ khóa mà bạn đã gõ, chính vì vậy mà bạn có thể ngưng quá trình tìm kiếm nếu thấy số e-mail thu thập được đã tạm đủ để gợi nhớ lại cho mình.

Nếu những từ khóa mà bạn gõ vào là những tên hoặc từ ngữ gần như thuần Việt (không nên bỏ dấu) thì đa số các e-mail mà SES tìm được hầu hết đều là của người Việt đang sử dụng. Bạn có thể cảm nhận được được điều này thông qua những e-mail có đuôi .VN, có phần “Title” bằng tiếng Việt và các “URL” liệt kê đều là những website xuất phát từ VN hay do người Việt tạo dựng. Để tìm ra xuất xứ của địa chỉ e-mail mà SES săn được, bạn có thể click chuột để chọn lấy địa chỉ e-mail cần dùng -> click chuột phải và chọn “Go to URL…” để SES đưa bạn đến website mà địa chỉ e-mail được liệt kê đã từng xuất hiện trên đó.

Để tìm một e-mail mà bạn nghĩ rằng nó có xuất hiện trên một website nào đó thì bạn chọn lấy thẻ “Start from a specific URL” -> gõ tên website cần “thám hiểm” e-mail vào ô “Please input the Start URL” -> tùy theo nhu cầu tìm kiếm mà bạn đánh dấu chọn vào các ô chức năng bên dưới -> sau đó nhấn Enter để quá trình tìm kiếm bắt đầu. Chức năng này hỗ trợ bạn tìm được hầu hết mọi e-mail đã từng xuất hiện trên một website nào đó.

Để tinh chỉnh cho SES, bạn nên vào “Settings” để lựa chọn sử dụng proxy, lựa chọn các cơ cấu tìm kiếm, quy định số lượng tối đa các website cần lướt tìm, quy định số lượng tối đa các e-mail được liệt kê, loại bỏ những website không cần thiết…
