 PointStone Privacy Cleaner 5.71 - Xóa mọi dấu vết trên máy tính
Bạn thường hay lướt web cũng như mở các tài liệu ra xem nhưng lại không muốn người khác biết bạn đã làm gì. Cách duy nhất là vào từng chương trình bạn đã mở, xóa hết danh sách các địa chỉ đã truy cập. Tuy nhiên, việc làm này không thể xóa hết mọi dấu vết. Do đó, bạn cần phải tìm một phần mềm chuyên dụng, và PointStone Total Privacy 5 là sự lựa chọn hợp lý dành cho bạn.  Xóa thông tin cá nhân Trước tiên, bạn cần tạo cho mình một Profiles, profiles này sẽ chứa những tùy chọn sẽ xóa khi chạy chương trình. Vào thẻ Profiles, nhấn New… để tạo. (Hình trên) Chương trình hỗ trợ xóa khá nhiều thông tin, từ cookies, cache của trình duyệt, danh sách các file đã mở trong MS Office cho đến các file log của các phần mềm thông dụng… Trong quá trình tạo profile, chương trình sẽ liệt kê các mục mà bạn cần xóa, với các thẻ sau: - Windows: Xóa clipboard, file rác,… - Browsers: Xóa cookie, các địa chỉ web đã truy cập của trình duyệt. Hỗ trợ 6 trình duyệt phổ biến (IE, FF, Opera, American Online, Netscape, Mozilla). - Messaging: Xóa các tin nhắn, thông tin truy cập từ Y!M, AOL, MSN Messenger, ICQ. - Custom: Tại mục này, chương trình chứa rất nhiều phần mềm, nhằm giúp bạn xóa được các file log cũng như danh sách các file đã mở từ phần mềm đó, thậm chí còn xóa luôn cả thư mục Quarantines của các phần mềm diệt virus. - Wipe Free Space: Quét không gian trống của ổ cứng để ổ cứng sạch sẽ hơn, không còn chứa các file rác do quá trình gỡ bỏ các phần mềm gây ra.  Nếu muốn lên lịch quét tự động, cũng tại thẻ Profiles, nhấn chọn đánh dấu vào mục Schedule the selected Profile to run at a specific time để lên lịch vào một giờ nhất định, hoặc Schedule the selected Profile to run on a specific event để quét khi khởi động máy hoặc sau khi đóng trình duyệt web…  Sau khi thiết lập xong cho profile, tại thẻ Overview, nhấn Wash My Computer để tiến hành “quét dọn”.  Xóa file vĩnh viễn thẻ Shredder, bạn có thể xóa file vĩnh viễn không thể phục hồi lại, nhờ vào công nghệ mã hóa cực mạnh.  Nhấn Add File hoặc Add Folder để thêm vào danh sách các file, folder cần xóa, rồi nhấn Permanently Delete Listed Files để tiến hành. Bạn cũng nên lưu ý phần Wipe Method (phương pháp mã hóa file), nhấn nút Change để thay đổi cách thức mã hóa.
