Divine Divinity is a computer role-playing game. There are 3 character classes—Fighter, Mage and Survivor (similar to the Thief class archetype common in many RPGs), each with a special move. However spells and skills of one class is available to all other classes. The choice of gender, except for defining the starting skills for the characters, offers no significant difference in gameplay experience.

Divine Divinity takes the player on a fantastic quest in a land torn apart by corruption and dark magic. Throughout his journeys the player will get the chance to develop his character as one of six character types, and meet a variety of people and fantastical beings. By combining the best features of the RPG genre, and introducing many new features, Divine Divinity aims to appeal to both hard-core and new RPG players

Divine Divinity là một RPG game do hãng Larian Studios and CDV sản xuất. Trò chơi này có nhiều nét giống với dòng game Diablo của Blizzard. Không như những game phiêu lưu đơn thuần trước đây, Divine Divinity có nhiều điểm thú vị và đặc sắc hơn.

Câu chuyện bắt đầu khi các thế lực bóng tối bắt được nữ thần ánh sáng Divinity. Khi chúng chuẩn bị tiêu diệt nữ thần, Divinity đã quyết định tách bản thân thành 3 phần, dung nhập vào 3 phàm nhân, với ý định chống lại thế lực bóng tối.

Lúc này, bạn là một thợ săn bình thường, không ngờ bị lũ Orc tập kích. Một bản thể của nữ thần đã chọn bạn.... Và hành trình tìm đến chân thiện mỹ đã bắt đầu..
Nhận xét của riêng mình là trò chơi đáng chơi hơn hẳn so với Diablo, hay thậm chí là DungeonSiege 2. Mặc dù chỉ là 2D, nhưng đồ hoạ cực kỳ bắt mắt, nhân vật lại được thiết kế hết sức trau chuốt ở dạng 3D, cực kỳ trau chuốt. Ngoài ra, các hiệu ứng phép thuật, bóng nước, cực kỳ đẹp, đẹp đến ngạc nhiên.

Âm thanh trong game, ngay từ phút đầu tiên, đã là thế mạnh của game, từng bản nhạc nền du dương khi bạn ở nông thôn, hay tiếng nhạc xập xình, tiếng lào xào của "dân nhậu", đều khiến bạn tán thưởng. Đặc biệt, trong game còn có ngày và đêm với từng loại âm thanh riêng biệt.
Giọng nói các nhân vật thì hết sức đặc biệt. Mình thích chơi pháp sư nữ, vì đặc biệt thích chất giọng dịu dàng đó.

Nếu đồ hoạ và âm thanh có thể cho trên 8 điểm, chắc chắn gameplay của Divine Divinity phải đạt 9 đỉểm. Người chơi sẽ phiêu lưu qua rất nhiều vùng đất. Sẽ gặp rất nhiều nhân vật. Đặc biệt, khi bạn làm việc thiện, tiếng tăm của bạn lan xa, sẽ có rất nhiều nhân vật đến tiếp xúc với bạn. Còn nếu trở thành sát thủ hay 1 trộm cắp, bạn rất có thể trở thành mục tiêu tiêu diệt của các vệ binh, hay những tập đoàn sát thủ trong game.
